False Alarm

Saturday I was having a lot of contractions, they weren't really painful but were coming every 4-5 minutes. I took a trip to the hospital and got hooked up to the monitor for an hour. They confirmed that I am still only 1 cm dialated and they were just small contractions- she called them "irritabilities" and just told me to drink more water and try to rest this weekend. I must have just over done it with all of the company over New Years and I didn't eat or drink anything all day on Saturday before going to the hospital because I was afraid if I was really in labor I knew I couldn't have anything before the c-section, so that didn't help with making the contractions go away. I finally slept well Saturday night and feel much better today. I thought maybe I was going to get my wish and not have to go back after break....but looks like the baby is staying in for a while longer!

OSU Bowl Game

The Jude's came over on New Year's Day for the OSU game. Caden and Evan had fun playing together and Evan loved cheering during the game. He is really good at the OH-IO chant now!

Angry Face

Here is what Evan does when he tell him to show us his mad face. It cracks us up! Most of the tim ehe can't do it without laughing.

New Year's

We spent New Year's Eve with the Hennings, Redensheks, and Murdochs. The boys had a great time playing together....and new baby Landon enjoyed sleeping through all of it!

Here is our attempt getting a shot of all of the boys together- worked much better last year!

Evan was very interested in Landon, which made me happy. He didn't mind when I held him and wanted to tickle his toes. Hopefully he does this well when our baby comes home!

Coloring

Evan loves to color. His favorite color is yellow.....but he announces that every color is yellow :)

Evan's new room

Evan moved into his room a month or so ago and I realized I never posted any pictures. Adam painted three gray walls and one red wall to make it an Ohio state room. We still have some more decorating to do, but here is his cute little toddler bed. He has done an awesome job with the transition. He goes right to bed at night and stays in bed all through the night. It is a little hard to get him to go to sleep at nap time because he keeps getting up to read, but he eventually falls asleep....sometimes in a pile of books!
