6 month appointment

Evan had his 6 month doctor's appointment today. He is a BIG boy!
Height 28 1/4 inches (95th%)
Weight 19 lb 14.5 oz (90th%)
Head 17.5 in. (70th%)

The doctor said he is doing great. She said to go ahead and try juice and FINGER FOOD! I was really surprised to hear that it was OK to start giving him bits of food, but she said he's ready. So let the fun and messiness begin. Boy will Lucky be happy! She said that his teeth are still going to be a while. He got 4 shots and an oral vaccine and he's not too happy about it tonight.

Sippy Cup

Evan tried a sippy cup for the first time. He just had water in it today. We are going to wait until after his doctor's appointment on Wednesday to find out if he can try juice. He did a good job sucking out of the cup and tried hard to hold onto the cup.

Birthday Party

Evan went to a first birthday party at The Little Gym. The party was for our friends Cindy and Gary's son Carson. We had a great time playing in the gym. Evan got to bounce on a big blow up mat and saw bubble for the first time. He also liked running and jumping with me and watching all of the other kids.

Here he is about to try the uneven bars:

Columbus Walk for Autism

Today we walked in the Autism Speak Walk for Autism. Both of our schools had teams walking in the event. Before hand Evan got his own private music therapy session from Tanya, a music therapist at Adam's school. He loved it and shook his egg along to the music.
Everyone gathered in the Schottenstein Center.
Starting the walk, Evan slept through most of it.
