Paint!

The basement is now painted. Josh and Laurel came in on Saturday to help Adam paint. Evan tried to help too....by sitting on the rollers and pan.

Girl's Weekend

Last weekend I went to Gatlinburg, TN with six friends from college for our 3rd annual girl's weekend. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub, shopping, and catching up. Even though the weather didn't work out for hiking, we still had a great time and can't wait to get together again.

Basement update

We are down to the final weeks before Evan's Birthday, which is out goal for having the basement done. The drywall is all up:

The carpet came this week and Saturday Josh is coming up to help Adam paint AND is picking up our furniture from IKEA on the way! It is almost done!!

Warm Weather

Warmer weather is here, which means we put away the winter hat and took out the baseball cap....hopefully the nice days stick around!

Playing Peek a Boo

The other night Evan and I played peek a boo with the table.

Ceiling

Evan is very excited that the ceiling for the basement has arrived! Today Adam is going to finish putting up the drywall and then hopefully get started on the ceiling! Evan thinks it is a great new toy sitting in our dining room.

Two Front Teeth!

Evan's top two front teeth popped through this past week.
