New Sitter

Evan started at a new sitter, Amie, this week. She has a two year old son and watches a total of 6 kids. He seems to like it there. He is taking naps on a cot, which I was really nervous about, but he has done just fine. He even seemed upset this weekend when we tried to get him to nap in his crib! Here he is before leaving the first morning:
They also do an art project every day. Amie sent me some picture throughout the week. Here Evan is coloring a picture of an E.

Clipper's Game

We took Evan to the Clipper's game last Sunday. They built a brand new stadium in downtown Columbus and it is really nice. We had standing room only tickets, which actually worked out well because Evan was able to move around. Here he is eating dinner while watching the game.

Evan loved this ride on ball toy. Luckily he didn't really mind if we didn't pay to make it move every time we walked by.

Evan kept reachig for a stranger's glass so we bought him some lemonade. He plopped himself right down on the ground to drink it!

Even though he has had his carseat for over 8 months, on the way home de decided that he no longer liked the head rest and screamed about it for the entire ride home.

Wearing the Indian's hat that his icecream came in.

Dublin Fountains

Last night we went with the Judes to a water park in Dublin. The park has water that squirts out from the ground for the kids to play in. Evan was a little unsure at first and would only stick one finger in the water, but warmed up to the idea and loved when someone held him and ran through the water.

Towards the end of the night he found a sword that someone left there and thought it was the greatest toy ever. He was trying to stick the sword in the water and walked around showing it to everyone.

Hose

Evan is still a little unsure of his pool. However, he does like to play with the hose! He likes to fill up the pool with water and spray off all of his toys. He does like to go down his slide into the pool, but immediately walks back out of the pool after going down the slide. Oh well, maybe he'll enjoy it more next year!

Playground

Evan loves going to the playground at my school! He has learned to climb up to the slides all by himself and go down them like a big boy!

Wedding

Adam and I went to a coworker's wedding last Friday. It was held outside at a park in downtown Columbus. Adam was really excited to see Brutus at the reception!

Water fun

Here are some pictures a neighbor took of Evan playing in some buckets of water last Sunday when it really hot.

Evan also likes to push around the neighbor's doll stroller!
